Works fine, Also great for anyone making sausage, into antiques etc. Keep your old leftover baits, freeze them, then grind them later for chum FYI, This grinder has not been used for fishing, I have used several others over the years for fishing, I am just recommending it as a nice thing to have on board for a smart fisherman in need. The grinder only has the one die that is installed, shown in photos. Clamp is good, the clamps screw threads are tight, not loose or worn as some older ones with lots of wear are. These grinders are great when fishing from a boat or shore. Clamp it onto the boats rail or to a board that you have clamped , secured or mounted to your boat You can grind your frozen sardines or any baitfish up while it falls right over the side of the boat directly into the water or a bucket hung from it. Great for bottom fishing when you add some sand to the chum it will also help it sink faster.. Use it for creating a sardine or eel oil slick to float downstream and bring the fish in.
