With the Certate SW, DAIWA offers an extremely resilient saltwater reel for
demanding fishing in the tropics and for halibut in Norway. Thanks to the MQ
construction, the drive wheel can be up to 40% larger than usual in normal reels of this size - this significantly increases power transmission and service life. The design of larger teeth in the
drive wheel also improves the service life of the gear and the MQ
construction offers optimal, torsion-resistant storage of the gear in the
reel body. The special painting process prevents corrosion under the
layer of paint. The ATD drag system in conjunction with the high-quality
carbon fiber drag discs ensure optimal release of the line under load without high initial resistance and for a long service life, even with frequent extreme drills - ideal for medium tuna, doggies and GT! With
