This listing features a beautiful and intricately detailed BEAU Sterling Silver Fishing Rod and Creel Basket with Fish Tail sticking out of the basket Pin. The pin has a a rich patina and the details are exquisite and incredibly life like. No detail has been left out. The fishing rod has a fishing line made of chain. The creel is complete with a fish sticking out of the basket. A creel is a wicker basket for carrying fish. It is often worn on the back or can be suspended from the shoulder. The pin is in excellent vintage condition. The maker's mark BEAU Sterling is on the back of the pin in an applied cartouche in the shape of a fish. The approximate measurement of the pin (the fishing pole) is 2 5/8" and the creel is 3/4" wide x 1/2" high. As many collector's prefer the natural patina, I have not polished the pin. A beautiful pin to add to your Beau Sterling Silver collection, or a great way to start one. What a wonderful gift this would make for youor, someone that loves to fish.
