The ambush bug looks like a small dinosaur. It has a thick hard mantle to protect it when in combat. There is a groove on each side to protect the antenna. There are powerful claws to grip prey. Hooks on his legs firmly anchor him. Prey can not escape his claws. Hidden under his head is an extendable beak (rostrum) that injects poison and digestive juices then doubles as a straw. He can capture prey 10 times his size of 5-10 millimeters. As Little Wang suggests, he looks a bit like a lion.
